Hello
I am searching to replace our HP dlt8000 ( 9 slots ) to a new backup device, the filer is a F87 with 250 Gb online.
The goal is to perform nightly incremental backups of user's data.
I need infos on the most appropriate device to do that job.
Thanks a lot.

take a look at the datadomain dd200 http://www.datadomain.com/
it might be too large for just the F87, but if you had other servers that you want to backup it is a great device.

We use standalone Sony SAIT drives which hold 500GB (uncompressed) per tape. We routinely see 15+ MB/sec over a gigabit network link.
