      Problem solved!
Thanks everyone for the input. It worked fine. It turned out that I had
missed checking the "Allow pre-Windows 2000 authentication" box when I
created the computer account. I also had to remove some files in the
/etc directory on the filer because the filer had been part of another
domain earlier.
