Hello all

We are going through DR scenario for our exchange 5.5 server. The domain is NT, our DB and logs our on a FAS 250 on separate Vol, and we are running snap manager and netapp drive version 1.1 to create the snapshots and also setup the drive mappings to the filer so we can mount the database.

My questions are

#1 if the exchange 5.5 server has a hardware problem or an OS problem, what steps must we take to bring up a new exchange 5.5 server, and then point all the clients to the exchange box?

If we bring up a new exchange box, do we have to give this server the same name as the old exchange box?
