Hi all,
I've just clustered a couple of F740's. I've got about 6 years of experience upgrading the OS on filers but have never done it on a cluster before. Do I need to do anything special to insure that both boxes are on the same version of the operating system? I will be going from 6.0.1R3 to 6.1R1.
Thanks!

I've done the same, but went from 5.3R4 to 6.1R1. Disable clustering on both filers via 'cf disable' first, perform the upgrades, then reenable clustering with 'cf enable'.
I've tested forcing takeovers and givebacks after the upgrades and things have been cool since, so I think this should work for you. :) (Still, I'd encourage NetApp staff to correct me if I missed anything here -- we dun wanna see Pat end up w/ broken stuff.)
