Hello Greg,
I assume that you will be using SnapManager for Exchange, which is the only way we support the use of Exchange on filers. If so, the installation procedure for MSCS can be found in the SnapManager for Exchange 2000 System Administrator's Guide. You can download the guide in PDF format from the NOW site (now.netapp.com). You may also need to apply the Microsoft hot fix for Q307939. This will be called out in the guide as well.
Please let us know if you have any further questions,

I am looking for documentation (configuration, limitations ...) on using a filer in an exchange 2000 cluster. I would appreciate any advise or direction that can be provided.
Hello Greg, Paul is right. I tested the SnapManager for Exchange 2000 System Administrator's Guide from the NOW site, and it was pretty straight forward. The document didn't go into performance tuning or security, but it did a great job illustrating the implementation of E2k on MS Clusters & NetApp filers. I did have to apply the hotfix Q307939 and don't forget the ESEFILE. I did run into some errors when configuring the VLD drives, but I just deleted them and reconfigured them the second time and I had all green checks! I tested E2k using IBM's X Series 360 servers, NetApp F880c (clustered) filers, Cisco Fibre switches, Windows 2k w/SP2, and NetApp 6.1.2R3, SnapManager.
