We are working in engineering with other tape technologies and have plans to support some of them later this year, when we do we'll update TIP 99. Until then if you need information on what's coming you should talk to your sales rep.

The date on TIP_99 is November 23, 1998. You mean that Netapp has not qualified any more tape drives since then? Tape Technology has changed quite a bit since then.....
