Can anyone tell me how to determine the patch level of the OS? Does a response of 5.2.1 from the "version" command mean that I have generic 5.2.1 with no P releases?
TIA

Yes.
Debug releases have a "D" number. Patch releases have a "P" number. So...
ast-h-dcf03> version NetApp Release 5.2.1P2D14: Thu Apr 29 20:07:05 PDT 1999
Is "5.2.1" patch release 2 Debug release 14.
