I was reading one of the NOW documents to get some background on expanding our filer. I'm a bit confused as to what the max capacity limit is based on. I found a table for the 740. From looking at the table it would appear that the max capacity is limited to 1,008 GB regardless of the size of the disks used. However, the text indicates that the limitation is a function of the number of disks supported (which is contradictory to the table). The table shows that I could have 28 disks x 36 GB. Does the fact that I have 36GB disks installed limit me to a total of 28 disks? I have seven 18GB disks that I plan to keep using as well.
