Haven't yet had the need. I have however restored files from both DOT 4.X & 5.X with ufsrestore on a Solaris 2.6 system.

Is there a recipe to do this, or did it "just work" for you? We've been unsuccessful thus far in doing restores to Solaris 2.6...
