Does anybody do a direct connect from a Sun or whatever to the NetApp via a crossover 100Bt cable?
If so what considerations did you make when ifconfig'ing the Sun? Did you use static routes?

Sure
If so what considerations did you make when ifconfig'ing the Sun? Did you use static routes?
I used a private network space for the connection. Since there were no routers on the link, there was no need for static routes (A route is automatically added when the interface is ifconfiged up).
