Has anybody tried using Filers on Macintosh OS 9.1

We provide home directory space from our filer to Macs via AppleShareIP using the Netatalk package. Netatalk is running on an old Sparc20.
For Mac OS X, they can mount the filer directly with the built-in Samba support.
