I was hoping that some one out there may be able to shed some light on the following log entries that we have started seeing on our CIFS only Netapp 840.
Fri Sep 28 08:50:07 BST [CIFSAuthen:error]: CIFS - response from domain controller was larger than we could handle. Fri Sep 28 08:50:07 BST [CIFSAuthen:info]: Connection with DC \XXXXXX Fri Sep 28 08:50:07 BST [CIFSAuthen:info]: Connection with DC \XXXXXX established Fri Sep 28 08:50:08 BST [CIFSAuthen:error]: CIFS - response from domain controller was larger than we could handle. Fri Sep 28 08:50:08 BST [CIFSAuthen:info]: Connection with DC \XXXXXX terminated Fri Sep 28 08:50:56 BST [CIFSAuthen:info]: Connection with DC \XXXXXX established
Every so often the box also starts getting the following messages Wed Sep 26 07:45:17 BST [CIFSAuthen:CRITICAL]: CIFS - Filer's security information differs from domain controller
I am going to open a call with Netapps, but thought I would see if anyone else is having the same problems
