Not for Filerview - always full admin rights if you are allowed to use Filerview.

Is there a way to create a account on the filer that has read-only access?
I tried useradmin user add myuser and added him to audit group. I could still change things like quotas from filerview, but could not login via cli
Thanks Stephen
We had this question as well when we installed our FAS 960 (Ontap 6.5). The UNIX team did not want to give root to the Windows team (a.k.a. me). I could have sworn that administrative rights granularity was to be introduced in Ontap version 7. I remember the consultant mentioning this. Have not looked to see if it's there though.
