Hi does anyone have any recommendations on backup strategies in regards to Notes on Solaris and the transaction logs and data on the filer ?

Snapshots seen to be the natural choice, however, what recovery tools are available to facilitate the restores ?

NetBackup does not presently support backing up over nfs.
