Does anyone here run the Oracle 11i Application suite (ERP) on a NetApp, via iSCSI or otherwise?
We're considering a 3020 as part of our big Oracle hardware replacement project, and wanted to talk to some folks who have actually done it.
The concern from the DBA folks is how a RAID4/6 system (with WAFL) can possibly compete with a RAID0/1 system...
thanks!

We run oracle 11i financials app/db suite on a 270C filer with no issues at all. The real issues are the oracle apps on linux--in our case we cannot apply a single redhat update or it will literally render the oracle suite useless.
Redhat insisted this was false and "verified" it with oracle, we updated our systems, oracle was hosed.
I am sold on netapp. I am not sold on oracle or linux. :)
