Sorry about the spam this morning, but the good news is that we've changed the configuration of the list to disallow posting by persons who are not on the list already. This should cut the amount of garbage down quite a bit.

I have chatted with the list administrator on the topic, and he agreed that we can leave the list in this state for a while and see if the S/N ratio improves.
