We are about to loan a toaster to see how well it performs in our environment (mixed Sun/Auspex/pc, NFS/SMB, ATM(Fore)/Ethernet). Does anyone have any tips about toaster weaknesses that we should try? We aren't trying to run down NAC, all systems have weaknesses, it's the one that you don't know about that are troublesome.

File locking. We had a Unix database with poor file lock handling totally trash a Netapp. Never did hear back from Netapp support like promised...no closed trouble ticket..no callback etc. We just pulled that database off that Netapp and haven't messed with it since.
