Greetings,
We have some 6290 7-mode clusters running 8.1.2P4. How abusive is having an user accounting quota on a head with say 40 file systems? Some file systems have over 100m inodes in use.
I could start turning them on one at a time, but I'd like to know the potential impact first.
Thanks,
Jeff
I use tracking quoats on several file systems with 10m + files and do not notice any impact, but have not done any agressive before or after comparisons. I am also on 8.1.2.p4
