Hi all,
I did a little googling, but after nothing came up in the first pass I thought I'd see if anyone knew off the top of their head: how long can a nvram battery in the current generation of storage systems protect data w/o power? In other words, how long can a system remain down before the data goes kaput?
Thanks in advance, Nick
The older systems...If I recall would go for 30 days or something crazy. Now I think it is a week tops if you are lucky. Better count on about 4 days or less.

I'm under the impression it's 3 days, I'll admit to having a hard time finding evidence of that on the NOW site. :(
