Hello,
I try to copy 150 GB from F740:vol0 to F820:vol1. The level0 frma ndmpcopy works fine. No errors. When i start the level 1, i get the following error:

I have also used the level i, but the same result: 1 time ok, incremental no go. The filers run both 6.1R1
Have someone a good idea?

Things to check:
1. Make sure you are running 5.3.7R3 or later on both system to avoid ndmp bugs.
2. After you run the "-level 0" are you running any other dumps? If so it interferes with the information and may cause a failure.
3. The "-level i" only works with jnmpcopy.
**notice the space between the word level and the number or "i"

Unfortunately,
all the three checks are ok. (6.1R1; no other dumps and jnmpcopy)

Actually there have been at least two patches to add "-level i" functionality for the C compiled version of ndmpcopy posted to this list.

From your log there is the message:

Do you have the level 0 log? How did it fail?
You cannot run an incremental copy on top of a failed level 0.
