Anyone know what this means or what might cause it? This is a server that has been running fine, but all of a sudden a few of these showed up in /etc/messages.

Maybe this help
Title: Error message: [nlm_send]: Lock manager version 4 (for UDP) not registered at host 10.152.4.76 - NetApp filer
Problem Environment: NetApp filer
F85 F800 series F700 series F600 series F500 series F300 series F200 series Data ONTAP Data ONTAP OS 5.3.X Data ONTAP OS 6.0.X Data ONTAP 6.1.x NFS Lock manager
Problem Description: Error message: Lock manager version 4 (for UDP) not registered at host
Some NFS clients cannot mount the filer
Cause of this problem: Lockd or rpcbind is dead on the client. Lockd is required by NFS clients if multiple processes are waiting for the same lock. When one process is finished with the lock, the server must send a GRANTED request to lockd on the NFS client. If the GRANTED request cannot be sent, then the process waiting for the lock will continue to hang on the client until the timeout value instigates a retransmission of the processes original lock request.
Fix: Restart lockd and statd on the NFS client indicated in the "Lock Manager" message(s). If problems persist: 1. Login to the filer and enter advanced mode. a. Data ONTAP 5.3.X and earlier enter rc_toggle_basic. b. Data ONTAP 6.X and later enter priv set advanced.
2. Enter sm_mon -u NFS_client_hostname . If messages persist, continue to step 3.
3. To release the stuck locks on the filer enter sm_mon -l NFS_client_hostname
4. Delete all the files in the filers /etc/sm directory. WARNINIG Do not delete the /etc/sm directory, only delete the files within the directory.
5. Exit advanced mode: a. Data ONTAP 5.3.X and earlier enter rc_toggle_basic. b. Data ONTAP 6.X and later enter priv set

I can't track down what burt this was (58120 is related), but we did track it down to an open debug port and fixed it in 6.2.
