As far as I'm aware, toasters is about the only user community effort going on for NetApps. Are there others? Namely other discussion groups, websites, or user groups. I've never heard of any and so have pretty much assumed that this is it.

I host a mailing list for NetCache users. Though it is very quiet and rarely used, it does have 80 or so people that are presumably somewhat interested in, and/or run, NetCache appliances.
netcache-users-request@gbnet.net with "subscribe" in the message body to join (only list members can post)
There is occasional discussion about NFS, and therefore NAS and Network Appliances, on the usenet group comp.protocols.nfs.
