the GUI (at least in 5.3.6 - don't know about 6.x).

This is fixed in a 6.x point release that should ship in the next few months (bug is 28306).

In a future release, the pull-down will display only a list of spare sizes which actually appear on the system (which in all cases makes more sense than the canned list it currently displays).
