The parameter listed for DLT8000 is incorrect in 6.0.1. This has been fixed in 6.0.2 (burt#35779.) To fully utilize the capacity of DLT8000, you should upgrade your ONTAP.

I am setting up a new STK library with DLT8000 drives and my 840 with 6.01 mt status gives me this:
Tape drive: Quantum DLT8000 Status: ready, write enabled Format: 85937 bpi 70 GB (w/comp) fileno = 0 blockno = 0 resid = 0
does this mean that it won't recognize the additional 5/10GB provided by the DLT8000 versus DLT7000? do i need an Ontap upgrade to see the additional space?
