Check your options for mappings from PC users - options cifs.guest_account and options wafl.default_nt_user - you may have nobody as an entry in one of those options...

Hi toasters,
we currently have a strange problem. We have setup a volume with mixed security style and exports and CIFS shares on it. I have made an entry in the usermap.cfg like this
Domain\jochen.willeke == utest
In filers local passwd utest has UID 1234 (only for a test). Mapping checked with wcc seems to work well, but when i create a folder from the windows side with my user jochen.willeke and then check with "ls -n" from a unix host, it shows me the UID and group ID from nobody (65534).
Has anybody an idea where my mistake is??
Best Regards and thanks in advance

Hi colleagues,
i found out something strange...
After setting wafl.default_nt_user "" i ended up, that no User from Windows was able to access shares, because it seems that the filer maps every user from our Domain to "pcuser".
I was never aware of that fact....Is this correct behaviour??
Rgds
Jochen
