I did see a pair of 740s clusetered at LISA. I've also been talking to my reseller about clustering a pair of them, with nary a word of it not being possible. I've also heard of clustering between a 630 and a 7xx, but it "wasn't supported."
True, the only supported configurations are between identical model filers.

Which is a little bit of a shame since it means you cannot upgrade a pair of clustered F630s to F760s without some downtime.
[OK, I admit the downtime is a single reboot - take F630/1 off-line, replace with, cable but leave offline F760/1, halt F630/2, boot F760/1 with all disks on cluster, install F760/2 and bring in].
A mixed cluster would let you replace units one at a time whilst trading the disk sets between them.
