Hey Toasters,
I have a F810 that has 14 36G hard drives and a fiber gige interface which goes to a gigabit switch. I have a PC with dual AMD 2400, with an Intel Pro/1000 card going to the switch. The PC runs RH 7.3(2.4.20-ac2)
To test out the performance of the F810 and the Gige card on the pc i was copying some large files from the netapp to /tmp on the pc.
This is sysstat 1 on the filer when copying 2 600 MB file at the same time.

The load on the netapp otherwise is fairly constant when carrying out either runs.
My question(finally)
* The NetApp CPU % busy when copying 2 files doesnt seem to be as high when copying 1 file. The Net KB out dont seem to be as high either ? This seem contrary to intuition.
I am not expecting to see double the CPU % and double the Net KB out...i would like to atleast see it higher. :)
Thanks.
