Data ONTAP 5.3.4 provides the following improvements to make entering filer commands easier.
History mechanism: You can scroll through recently entered commands using the following methods:
- Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys (cursor keys).
- Use Ctrl-P to scroll up and Ctrl-N to scroll down.

Now that I played with it some more, I am no longer satisfied with it (isn't that always the way? ;-)). Adding !, ^L (to clear the screen of clutter) and a "history" command would be fabulous. I also prefer the ^R (to refresh the command line) to redisplay the prompt. Enable ssh/SecureAdmin, and I almost feel like I'm working on a regular UNIX machine. :)
