Our configuration is 760 running 6.1R1

When I try to save a file from a Unix/Solaris application to a ntfs qtree/directory I get access denied. Using an xterm I can access the directory as myself and rm, touch, vi any file, just cant do the same form a Solaris application ie...file manager and 3rd party Unix apps. I have checked the group perms, and wcc -s and -u also wcc-d and all seem ok. Has anyone seen this problem before?
