Yeah, you could do the same bash loop idea with unc path in a bat file or vb script.

There is also Windows PowerShell as a scripting option, though myself I prefer SSH.
If you have a spare Linux VM around, you might want to look at Ansible if you need to automate a lot of tasks http://www.ansibleworks.com/ (their core product is open source 100% free). It is written in Python and uses SSH to do all its remote communication with the servers you manage.
