We have use cases (e.g., backups) that require the use of local accounts on our NetApps, and to generate NDMP-specific passwords. We are using DFM for monitoring and alerting on our arrays. I see the dfm command line offers the ability to create, delete, modify such local user accounts, but there is no option to change the password? Am wondering how others manage these local accounts across multiple filers? We're still on 7-mode by the way.
