Does anybody know or tell me where to find out if the ports used by the netapp filers for NFS, NLM etc are fixed and if so what they are.

The only port that's fixed is the port for NFS, which is port 2049.
All the other ports are assigned dynamically; we don't guarantee that they'll always get the same port numbers. (They might happen to get the same port numbers after a reboot, but we don't guarantee that.)
