Greetings:

I am preparing to install Symantec CarrierScan, and came across something in the manual I have a question about. There is a statement in the manual that says "Virus scanning should be disabled before initiating backup of the NetApp Filer".

It seems to me that this may not apply if ndmp were being used for backup? Anyone else have experience with this issue?
