Hi all,
I know the DS2246 supports both SSDs and SAS drives, and I know this is not recommended, but for the purposes of answering a hypothetical question posed to me, is it technically possible to mix ssds and sas drives in the same shelf?
Thanks in advance, Nick
Nick,
SSD is only supported on the DS4243 shelf. It is not supported on the DS2246. Also, when configuring a system with SSD you have to have them in a separate stack from any other disk technology.
