I spent most of October with netapp on this one. For me, it was fixed in 6.1.1R2. I suggest you upgrade. See bug id 54265.

Has anyone seen intermittent problems when users try to save Excel or Powerpoint files to a share on the filer? Also, what are some of the strategies for dealing with oplock break timeout issues? I've been working with NetApp support on these issues but I'd like other opinions. I'm running an 820 filer, DATAOntap 6.1.1r1, and I have a 4-port, 10/100 full duplex vif.
