Does anyone have any experience with LTO 3 drives on filers? I am looking at replacing the LTO-1 drives on our FAS940 and F880 with LTO-3 drives. Can the FAS940 and F880 stream the LTO-3's fast enough ?

My current LTO's are connected via the onboard U160 SCSI port on the filers. I asked NetApp, and they said I could go with either SCSI or FC for these direct attached drives.

Anyone have any recommendations ?
