Doublecheck syntax. Check the entire /etc/rc file. Make sure you don't have a 'ndmpd off' statement someplace after the 'ndmpd on'?

I have a problem with my 760 filer. I have the command NDMPD ON in my \etc\rc file, but after I reboot and enter the NDMPD STATUS command, it shows that it was off. Any ideas?
