If I look in my Operations manager settings (DFM 4.0.2), I see an eventsPurgeInterval.

What events should be getting removed by this setting? I have lots and lots of old events cluttering things up. Some are only in history, some are current. Here's one that's current.

$ dfm report view events | grep 985209 Information 985209 Aggregate Discovered 08 Dec 2008 24482 toaster4:aggr2

here's one that's not current: $ dfm report view events | grep 620491 $ dfm report view events-history | grep 620491 Information 620491 Host User Modified 15 Aug 2008 root 25 Nov 2008 1810 toaster3

But other times I see things do get purged, so I just don't understand what is and is not disappearing.

Is there a way to get rid of all these ancient information events disappear (even from history)?
