Hi all,

I have a couple questions around CIFS on my 7-mode NetApp (running 8.1.3):

1. Is there a way to disable NetApp from creating 8.3 filenames on a CIFS/FTP share? Or, if there isn't, is there a way to hide the 8.3 filenames?

2. Is there any way to make FTP folder paths on a NetApp CIFS share not be case sensitive?
