Quite the lopsided comparison. Someone should probably explain the difference between NAS and SAN to these guys. I personally view them as complimentary architectures. While NAS cannot fill every role, for now, it is much more versatile than SAN. The only thing missing from NAS right now is the ability to aggregate I/O across multiple filers. This would fulfill the needs of REALLY heavy hit Databases.
