netapp support advised me to use the disk_remove_label command to remove the disk labels of a couple of new disks which decided to insert themselves into a new and unused vol. however, my 5.3D2 ontap does not seem to know the disk_remove_label command. is this correct? or is there another command to remove the disk label?
Hi Michael, The command is actually 'disk_erase_label', which is an 'rc_toggle_basic' command. (type 'rc_toggle_basic' at the command line to access the command.)
regards, bam
