1 thought is that the User's ID must have full control at the share & file level of the profile on the server. Did you tweak permissions on the client system's profiles directory at all?

I'd like to know if anyone is using a filesever to host windows roaming profiles? Works OK from a W2K/NT4 windows server but the error message I see when trying from a filer is:
"Cannot copy file \toaster\users\unsername... to C:..."
"Windows cannot load the profile and is loging you in with a temporary profile..."
Could this be a timing issue? Profile needed too early in the login process?
