I've got an F230 that I need disks for, but Netapp is telling me that they don't have any to sell. I need the space, and would like to buy disks. Does anyone have a source for these, or some to sell? I'm looking for like four to six drives.

I have four F230's with about 52 4GB drives in all... two years old, but I figured these things would appreciate in value some day. ;-) I'm trading those in to our VAR for four F740's, so I imagine they'll have those drives available. I can e-mail you their contact information privately (they are located in Ottawa).

Yeah. I've got some personally off an old 540. I've got some narrow, some wide (I believe they're all baracuda's). These are the DEC StorageWorks disks/shelves that netapp used to sell (the brown ones)..
Let me know if you're interested. These drives are used (though I guess if you lose faith in them, you could yank the disk out and mount something new in the enclosure)..
