RE: snapmirroring over WANYou can create a Snapvault baseline using NetApp's LREP tool to perform a local backup that is transported to the remote secondary location and then used to seed the destination mirror. This works for Snapvault and Snapmiror. Search for "LREP" on NOW.

Can you do this with SnapVaults, or just snapmirrors? This would be a great way to get an initial snapvault setup for my remote sites, since they are on fast links, but far away and the TCP bandwidth delay is killing my performance.
