Correct the entries to read:
nobody::65535:65535::/: pcuser::65534:65534::/: root::0:1::/:
The other entry is a site-specific.

There is a gotcha, CIFS requires that a passwd file with the following minimum entries:
notesnetapp::5432:5432::/: nobody::65535:65535::/: pcuser::65534:65534::/: root::0:1::/:
By default this file does not exist and if you are running NFS when you invoke CIFS setup NO passwd file is created. Easiest way to correct this is to shutdown NFS and re-run CIFS setup which will create the required passwd file.
Have fun... Don

Hi,
I created a machine account for the filer on the Domain, When I run CIFS setup, it runs successfully and says welcome to Domain & CIFS local server is running.
But when I try to access the filer on the network using a domain user name, it is not taking the user name & password.
Where am I wrong.
