Hi Paul, If you go to http://www.netapp.com/solutions/data_protection.html and look at the choices on the left-hand side of the screen, click on FC SAN solution it'll take you to the page that gives you all the information about the SAN solution with the Brocade switch. Clicking on the number by the switch, tells you how the switch needs to be configured.

I believe that the tape drives and the filers need to be in the same zone, if this is the case can the tape drives be used by other devices when not in use by the fiers??
