Does anyone actually know what tests Network Appliance hard drives get put through before they get the NetApp stamp of approval? Someone mentioned they reject like 30% of their drives. Is that true? Because that number seems pretty high to me. If it so, I would like to know exactly what tests they use (and what figures they use) to determine whether or not to reject a drive.
