Kerry,
6.4.2P11 is a GA release. Take a look at the the Data Ontap Release Model http://now.netapp.com/NOW/products/ontap_releasemodel/. 6.4.2P6 is a GA release, and was released as GA in September. All subsequent "P" releases will also be released GA.
Hope this helps.

I need to upgrade a R150 from DOT version 6.4.1P1D1 to DOT 6.4.2P11 because of bug 102089/Disk spin up errors could lead to wafl hung panic. My system did a system panic and rebooted last week due to this error. I'm a little nervous though about upgrading to a non-GA release. Is anyone out there running this release? (Netapp claims 20 systems are running it). If so any issues with it?
Thanks for any input,
Kerry Herschel

One way of reading that is that the 6.4.anything (the "Release Family") is GA if any of them are. But in that case what is the significance of 6.4.2P6 being offered on, e.g.
http://now.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/software?product=Data+ONTAP&platform=F...
rather than any later 6.4.2P*? Is it "more GA" than them? :-)

yes , it is more GA as every xxxPyy is a Patched version of the base xxx version meaning bugs had been corrected but no specific design was added here is my opinion
