Installing my first CDOT machine, and when we got to the point of joining the first CIFS SVM to the domain, we hit a snag. It looks like ontap expects to be creating the machine account. In 7-mode, if it finds an account where it wanted to create one, it would ask if we wanted to reuse that. In CDOT, it just failed.
I'm checking to make sure it's not something else like credentials or access, but has anyone else tried this? What should happen in CDOT when you join a domain where the computer account already exists?

It should ask you if you want to re-use the account.
