The same applies for 4.1.
I am running 4.1 on a few Win2k3 servers. I called MS and the whole process took about 20-30 minutes to get the patches. There was no question about billing. I do believe any calls regarding hotfixes or patches are free.

I know for the previous versions of Snapdrive, NetApp basically had an open case that their customers could call in on to Microsoft and get the links to the "secret patches".
I don't know how new 4.1 is, so this may not have been done yet.
They are definitely not the same patches though.

For snapdrive 4.1 winx64 the following patches from Microsoft are required.
898790 902837 908249 911030 912848
Unfortunately not all the patches are public available from Microsoft.
Has anybody played around with snapdrive and has the patches available? (Windows2003, 64 Bit).
